Stanley Edward Wilson of Potosi, Missouri departed this life February 14, 2009 at the Des Peres Hospital having reached the age of seventy six years, three months and ten days. He was born on November 4, 1932 a son to the late Harry Wilson and Sarah Brewer Wilson.
In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by a son Danny Wilson; brother Wendell Wilson; three sisters Juanita Ursrey; Bernice Gibson and Norma Phares.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are his wife Janet Wilson of Potosi; two sons Gerald Wilson and wife Brenda of Franklin, IL; Stan Wilson and wife Heather of Gilbert, AZ; daughter Holly Elmore and husband Tony of Hannibal, MO; sister Audrey Callahan of Steelville; fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
A memorial service was conducted Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 10 AM at the Britton Funeral Home with Rev. Bryce Wilson officiating.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
NOTE: Stanley Edward Wilson's cremains and the military marker were placed at the foot of the grave of his mother, Sarah F. Brewer.
