Funeral services for Jack Thomas Huckaba, 79, who died in West Memphis, Ark. on April 12, 1976, were held Wednesday, April 14, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Bell officiated and interment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery near Steele, Mo., with the H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Huckaba was born in Dyersburg, Tenn. on September 6, 1896 to the late John and Anna Huckaba. He attended schools in Tennessee and on May 23, 1936 in Braggadocio, Mo., he was united in marriage to Miss Lula Mae Hammond. She preceded him in death on December 15, 1967. He was also preceded in death by one son, Matthew Huckaba. He was engaged in farming until his retirement.
Survivors include four daughters: Mrs. Flossie Louise Lewis of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Shirley Ann Marshall of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Judy Maxine Bray of Caruthersville, Mo. and Mrs. Earlene Patricia Boyd of West Memphis, Ark. He also leaves 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Lula Mae Huckaba in the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. J.S. Bell officiated and burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Huckaba was born at Cooter, May 13, 1904, and died in a hospital at Festus, Mo., at the age of 63.
She was the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Hammond. Mrs. Huckaba was a former resident of Steele.
She leaves in addition to her husband, Jack Huckaba of Herculaneum, Mo., three sons: James McElroy, Caruthersville; Jessie McElroy, Terre Haute, Ind.; and Bobby Jones, Kokomo, Ind.
She also leaves four daughters: Mrs. Ruth Lloyd, Terre Haute, Ind.; Mrs. Shirley Marshall, Tampa, Fla.; Mrs. Judy Hopper, Blytheville, and Mrs. Earlene Boyd, Herculaneum, Mo.; one brother, L.G. Hammond, Flint, Mich., two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Stine, Caruthersville, and Mrs. Stella Belch, Memphis; 15 grandchildren and one great grandson.
Pallbearers were Willis Williams, Jessie Turnbow, Bobby Guest, Alphus Guest, Wayne Wheatley and Johnny Montgomery.
