Ronald Roy Wilkinson, age 70, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2007, in Ozark Nursing and Care Center. He was born August 19, 1937, in Willow Springs, Missouri, the son of Lloyd and Thelma (Oaks) Wilkinson. On September 19, 1969, he and Leanna Jewell Hawkins were united in marriage. Mr. Wilkinson graduated from Lebanon High School and attended Missouri State University. He served his country in the Army National Guard. He spent his working career as a terminal manager and as a sales manager for truck lines. He was also a member of the Springfield Traffic Club. Survivors include his wife, Leanna Wilkinson; his daughter Ronda Ayres and husband, Patrick, Highlandville; two sons, Duane Wilkinson and wife, Sandy, of Highlandville, and Jason Wilkinson and wife, Michele, of Willard; seven grandchildren, Eric, Sara, Lora Beth, Jessica, Torri, Austin, and Zachary; one great-granddaughter, Abby; two brothers, his twin brother, Donald Wilkinson, Johnson City, Tennessee, and Dale Wilkinson, Montgomery City, Missouri; and two sisters, Evelyn Renner, Lebanon, and Edith Buckley, Wilmington, North Carolina. Visitation will be held in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Gary Mitchener officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopedale Cemetery.
