Jennie June Hunsaker, 91, of Novelty died this morning (Sept. 28, 1978) at 3:15 in the Knox County Nursing Home at Edina, where she had been a patient five years.
Born July 25, 1887 in Knox county, she was the daughter of Henry Thomas and Jane Amelia Herget Botts. On Oct. 25, 1911 she was married to Homer Alroy Hunsaker who preceded her in death on November 12, 1968. Also preceding her in death were one sister, Ethel Ross, and four brothers, Joseph H. Botts, Jess Botts, Elmer Botts and Walter H. Botts.
Surviving are one son, James D. Hunsaker of Edina and one sister, Nellie Epperson of 711 S. First.
Mrs. Hunsaker attended NMSU and had been a school teacher in Knox county.
She was a member of the Novelty Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon (Sept. 29, 1978) at 3 o'clock in Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina. The Rev. Tim Gilliland of Novelty will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Novelty cemetery.
