A Holland resident, Doss Arvel Culp, died June 13, 1960 of cancer. He had been ill several months.
Mr. Culp, a retired farmer, was born in Cardwell and had lived in this vicinity for several years. He was 64 years and 17 days of age at the time of his death.
Services were held in the German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele at 3:00 p.m. June 15. Rev. Ray Crews of the Holland Baptist Church officiated with interment in Mount Zion Cemetery, German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Culp; four sons, James Culp, of St. Louis, Arvel, of Holland, Ronald of Hermondale, and Larry Culp of Holland; two daughters, Mrs. William (Sue) Bailey of Holland and Miss Wanda Culp of Holland; five brothers, Alex, Harry, Dutch, Roscoe, and Robert Culp; five sisters, Mrs. Sallie Williams, Mrs. Bill Middleton, Mrs. Davie Vise, Mrs. Elsie Womack, and Gracie Culp.

Willie Jane Culp, 87, died Tuesday, June 1, 1999, at the River Oaks Nursing Center in Steele. She was born on Tuesday, January 16, 1912 at Athens, Ala., the daughter of the late Buster Bolin and Georgia Bolin.
Culp was a retired cook. She was a Baptist. She was married to Doss A. Culp, who preceded her in death. She was a cook until she retired.
Survivors include two sons: Arvel and Rondal Culp of Steele; two daughters, Sue Bailey of Holland and Wanda Potts, of Steele; three sisters, Marie Metheny, Edna Guy and Maudie McCaig, all of Caruthersville; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Steele on June 3, 1999 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Bob Trout officiating. Interment was held in Mount Zion Cemetery near Steele.
Bradshaw Funeral Home was in charge of services.
