Funeral services for Dearl Eugene Uselton, 32, were held Friday, June 30, 1967 at the Number Eight Community Pentecost Church. Elder Hurshel Goldair of Portageville officiated, assisted by Bro. J.B. Davis, of Corinth, Miss. Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Uselton was born in Alabama November 29, 1934 and died June 28, 1967 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti. He had lived in the Cooter area for 13 years.
Pallbearers were Bill Usery, Johnnie Emerson, James Burrow, Jack Redden, Jackie Lancaster, and Leroy Lancaster.
He leaves his wife, Maerene, two daughters, Brenda and Dorothy and one son, Marvin, all of the home; and two brothers, Leon Uselton of Greenwich, Ohio; and Johnny Uselton of Cooter.
