Son of J.D. "Dick" LaFevers and Alene Largent LaFevers
Jerry was born at West Plains, MO., the son of J.D. "Dick" and Ailene Largent LaFevers. He graduated from West Plains High School with the calss of 1959 where he lettered in football. Jerry had been employed as West Plains City Park Director for 14 years before his retirement. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army. Jerry was the husband of Allison, and father of David Wayne LaFevers, Seth Barry and Matt Barry.
Graveside services were held on January 12, 2013, with Pastor Elliott Anderson officiating under the direction of Robertson Drago Funeral Home.
