ACCIDENT FATAL TO RIVES MAN
Lloyd Franklin Kackley, 21, of Rives, Mo. died at the Kennett Memorial Hospital February 27 at 12:20 a.m. from injuries near Rives earlier Saturday afternoon. Lloyd, known by most of his friends as "George", was born November 13, 1950 in Blytheville, the son of Cleamon and Dixie Kackley.
He was a graduate of Delta C-7 school in the class of 1968. He was discharged from the Army as a sergeant in December, 1971, after two years service. Most of his enlistment was spent at Fort Sill, Olka., where he was a Military Policeman.
At the time of his death he was employed at the Bootheel Video Cable in Caruthersville.
Services were held at 2 p.m. February 29 at the Missionary Baptist.
