Francis Liberty Barron, a son of the late Steven Allen and Mary Ann Purcifull Barron, was born September 8, 1904 at Holland, Missouri and died April 8, 1987 at Blytheville, Arkansas at the age of 82.
He was a retired farmer, a veteran and a member of the Church of Christ.
He leaves two brothers: Clarence Barron of Doniphan, Mo., and Floyd Barron of Steele, Mo. Six brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Services were from Samford Church of Christ, Saturday, April 11, at 1:00 p.m., Mr. Walter Lumpkin officiating. Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery at Steele, with arrangements by German-Aumon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Clail Jackson, Ruben Biggs, Elmer Nowlin, Edison Lindsey, E.T. Samford, and Charles Ellis.
