Julian Britton Hendrix passed away Thursday at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital and funeral services were held Saturday at German Funeral Home in Steele, with the Rev. J.E. Cooper officiating. He had been ill for several months and would have been 76 years old March 10. Mr. Hendrix was born in Tennessee and was a Baptist. He leaves three sisters, Mrs. Lou Bishop of Cooter, Mrs. Jo Ann Joslin of Dyersburg and Mrs. Grady Sales of Bellville, Mich.; three brothers, Osborn Hendrix of Dyersburg, Newt and Marvin Hendrix of Chicago; and a host of friends. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
