William Henry "Bill" Williams, Jr., age 66 of Carterville, MO, passed away at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin.
Born January 25, 1943 in Carterville, he was the son of the late William, Sr. and Icle Huffman Williams and lived in the Joplin area the past 15 years.
He retired as an electrician with Doane Products and was a member of AFL-CIO Union.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
On September 25, 1981 he married Novella M. "Bobbie" Knisley at Carterville. She survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Lori Motherwell of Ohio, Mildred Stots of Carterville; a son, Glen Everitt of Coffeyville, KS; a brother, Donny Hegwer of Peculiar, MO; 26 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five sons, Loyd, Paul, Charles, Billy and Eddy Everitt.
