Kevin Zachery "Zack" Rushing, 20, of Steele, died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at his home in Steele.
Born Oct. 26, 1989 in Jacksonville, Ark., he is the son of Melissa and Terry Crocker and Pat and Charles Shubert.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Ott Shubert and great-grandmother, Emma Barnard.
He attended the Oakview Learning Center for several years.
Zach leaves his parents: Melissa and Terry Crocker and Pat and Charles Shubert; Two very special aunts: Mary Ann Barnard and Charlee Maclin and her husband David; A niece, Linsey Smith; Two step-sisters: Heather Crocker and Kimberly and Jimmy Walters; One nephew, Jimmy Walters: A step-brother, Shane and Tina Crocker; Great-grandparents, Richard and Lou McClamore; Special uncle, J.B. Barnard; Special aunt, Mary Ann Barnard; A host of other relatives and many friends who loved him.
Funeral services for Zach were held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 26, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with Bro. Danny Lacer officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
Pallbearers were Billy Joe Stanfield, Stewart Robinson, Shane Crocker, Romey Burleson, Joel Burleson, and David Maclin.
Honorary pallbearers were Heather Crocker, James Wilbourn, Kari Smith, Brent Travis and Chaz Lloyd.
