Jerry Dean Yates, 53, of Cooter, MO, died Monday, September 27, 2010.
Mr. Yates was born September 6, 1957 in Chicago, IL to Mr. George and Shirley Endland Yates.
He attended Franklin County High School in Winchester, TN and was a resident of Missouri since 1978. Mr. Yates loved animals; he raised chickens, doves and rabbits. He enjoyed riding four wheelers, trucks and motorcycles, and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Lee Yates.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Shirley England Yates; two sons, Jeremy Yates and Jarred Yates and his wife, Tara, all of Caruthersville; two brothers, Earl Yates and Chuck Yates, both of Cooter; and one sister, Georgie Edwards of Cooter; also three grandchildren, two nieces and four nephews and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services were held Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Holly Grove Baptist Church in Cooter with Rev. Don Tims Jr. and Rev. John Stepp officiating. Burial was held in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Faith Funeral Service of Manila, AR was in charge of the arrangements.
