Mr. Larry "Mouse" Elbert Robbins, 69, of Ocala, Fla., passed away March 25, 2013 in Ocala. Born September 12, 1943 in Pemiscot County, Mo., he was the son of the late James Elbert Robbins and Reatha Bryant Robbins. On December 16, 1968 he was united in marriage with Marlys Sikkink in Wichita, Kansas.
He also served his country in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Faye Robbins Meddleton and two nephews, Jackie Marshall and Ray Marshall.
Survivors include his wife, Marlys Robbins, of Ocala; one daughter, Kelli Laconte and her husband, Danny, of Ocala; one sister, Norma Turner and her husband, Lindel, of Jonesboro, Ark., one brother, Ronald "Buddy" Robbins and his wife, Joan of Sefner, Fla.; and one grandson, Noah Laconte, and many friends and other relatives.
Services were conducted March 29, 2013 at Powell Funeral Home in Steele with Mr. Michael Meredith officiating. Burial followed at Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele.
Pallbearers were Danny Laconte, Lynn Turner, Derick Turner, Buddy Robbins, Lindel Turner and Richard Meddleton.
Powell Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.
