Mont E. Hurst, resident of Steele for the past five years, died Tuesday August 12, 1952 at his home.
He was born March 23, 1870 in Tennessee and died at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 20 days.
Funeral services were held Thursday, August 14, 1952 at the Church of Christ in Steele. Bro. James R. Braswell conducted the services.
Survivors of the deceased are his wife, Winnie Hurst, of Steele; one daughter, Jesse Barker of Dell, Ark., five granddaughters, and four sisters.
Cobb Funeral Home at Blytheville had charge of the arrangements and internet was in Mount Zion Cemetery.
