Ted Carnell, 21 months old twin son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Carnell of Holland, died Sunday in walls Hospital in Blytheville after a two weeks' illness.
He leaves to mourn his passing the parents; one sister, Irma Lou; four brothers, Herman Jr., James, Joe,
and his twin, Fred. Both sets of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. O.C Carnell and Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Gentry of Blytheville; a great-grandmother, Mrs. Louise Cox, of Holland; several uncles and aunts and other relatives survive.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Holland Baptist Church by Rev. S.A. Merrill, pastor of the Assembly of God Church at Blytheville. The choir, composed of Holland ladies, sang "Asleep in Jesus"; and two songs, "I Wonder Why It Is So" and "Farther Away" were sung by the Junior Four quartette of the Assembly of God Church of Blytheville composed of Helen Mangum, Margie Merrill, Donald Merrill and Shirley Covington with Ruth Mangrum, pianist.
Burial was made in Mount Zion Cemetery with German Undertaking Co. in charge.
Pallbearers were Billy Maxine Edwards, Emmie G. McArthur, Grace McCrary and Johnnie Northern. The flower girls were Nellie Jo Frazier, Cecil Mae Kenley, Maxine Nunnery and Lela Mae Byassee.
