Steele, Mo. - Funeral services were held Thursday morning at the Steele Baptist church for Charles Stout, 28, who died at the Walls hospital in Blytheville Wednesday from injuries sustained when he fell from a tree he was trimming in Steele, his head striking a concrete walk, fracturing his skull. The services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.W. Cunningham and interment was in Mt. Zion cemetery near Steele.
Mr. Stout, who was unmarried, had lived here all of his life. He followed the work of trimming trees here for a number of years.
Survivors are his father, Manley Stout; a brother, Arlie of Steele; and a sister, Mrs. Eva Lowery, of Blytheville. His mother died in 1927.
