NORMAL Ill: - Linda J. Miller, 73, of Normal, passed away at 9 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2016, at her home. Linda was born Jan. 27, 1943, in Pomona, MO, the daughter of the late W.E. "Bill" and Jenny Louise Dotson Bryan. Linda graduated from Willow Springs High School in Willow Springs, MO. She was a cook for Unit 5 School District for many years. On April 29, 1967, in Peoria, she married Jack W. Miller, and he preceded her in death on March 13, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Michael and Mitch Bryan. Survivors include two sons, Darren (Lisa) Miller of Morley, MO, and Eric (Kim) Miller of Newberg, OR; five grandchildren, Justin (Jessie) Chase, Stephanie, Johnathan, Ally and Hunter; one great-grandson, Nathaniel Chase; one sister, Nancy (Rick) Weaver of Batesville, AR, many nieces and nephews and two pet children, Maggie and Peggy, who she loved dearly. Linda loved reading and cooking, but most of all her grandchildren. Visitation is from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 26 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home in Bloomington, with the Rev. Ken Martin officiating. Interment will be private.
