Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Ann Singleton were held April 1, 1981, at 2:00 p.m. at German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele.
Mrs. Singleton was born in Minor, Tenn., February 14, 1897, and died March 30, 1981 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital at Hayti.
Rev. James F. McCrary conducted the service.
Mrs. Singleton leaves five daughters: Willie Culp of Steele, with whom she lived; Lucille Carr of Caruthersville; Marie Matheny of Huffman, Ark.; Edna Guy of Yarbro, Ark.; Maudie Simpson of Caruthersville; A son, Roy Thompson of Arlington, Ill.; sixty grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Marvin Phillips, Anthony Norrid, Terry Payne, Carl Carr, Elmer Nowlin and John R. Lorren.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Steele, with arrangements by German-Aumon Funeral Home of 122 East Main Street, Steele.
