Funeral services for Bernie Neil of Qulin, Mo., were held Friday, June 20, 1952 at the Cooter Baptist Church, with Rev. Paul Brown officiating.
He was born April 23, 1914, at Cooter and died June 18, 1952 at the Blytheville Hospital in Blytheville, Arkansas. Interment was made at Mt. Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene Neil of Qulin; three sons, Howard and Gene of Qulin and Wayne of the U.S. Army; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Neil of Cooter; one brother, J.W. Neil of Cooter; and five sisters, Mrs. Susie Rollins of Burlingame, West Virginia, Mrs. Lula Davis of Fornfelt, Mo., Mrs. Annie Davis of Steele, Mrs. Vernell Ingram of Shreveport, La., and Mrs. Wilma Alford of Blytheville, Ark.
