Mrs. Elizabeth Blocker, 70, of Kennett, Mo., died Tuesday, June 10, 1997, at the Methodist Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Monday, August 12, 1926 in McCrory, Ark., she was a daughter of the late Ed and Pearl Lane Creasey.
One daughter, Brenda Wadley, two brothers, and two sisters also preceded Mrs. Blocker in death.
On September 3, 1969, in Malden, Mo., she was united in marriage to Roy Blocker.
A homemaker, she was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Blocker leaves her husband, Roy Blocker, of Kennett, Mo.; one daughter, Janice Linton, of Hernando, Miss.; two sisters: Nellie Mae Tanner of Malden, Mo., and Lucille Duncan, of McCrory, Ark.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Blocker were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 1997, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Steele, Mo., with Rev. Jerry Williams officiating.
Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with Bradshaw Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
Pallbearers were Michael Lipscomb, John Lipscomb, Jimmy Box, Donald Wadley, Parrish Rudkin, and Michael Burks.
