Funeral services for Milan Hastings were held Monday, Decmeber 12, 1983 at 2:00 p.m. at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele, Mr. Mark Raulerson officiated.
Mr. Hastings was born February 17, 1922 in Steele and died December 10, 1983 in Steele. He was 61.
He leaves one daughter, Wanda McDonald of Braggadocio; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Pritchard and Anna Belle Hodge of Steele, Pauline Gurley Smith of Memphis, and Lorell Mayo of Riverside, Calif.; and three brothers, Claude Hastings of Carbondale, Ill., William Earl Hastings of Orlando, Fla., and James Alfred "Red" Hastings of Steele.
Pallbearers were Walter Holly, Paul Cooper, Charles Edward Smith, Eddie Rinehart, Thelbert Bishop, and Robert Holly.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
