Graveside services for John Coleman Middlebrook, Jr., 65, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2013, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Middlebrook died at 9:05 a.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Ozarks Medical Center. He was born February 3, 1948, in James County, Virginia, to John Coleman Middlebrook and Ruby Mae Flora. On May 3, 2009, he was married at Elk Creek, Missouri, to Cathy Morris. He was a veteran, having served with the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was a sharp shooter. Mr. Middlebrook was a Christian and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Middlebrook, West Plains, Missouri; two children, Deanna Jones, Memphis, Tennessee and Jeff Middlebrook, Jonesboro, Arkansas; three grandchildren; Jake Middlebrook, Grant Jones and Emile Middlebrook; two sisters, Brenda Seymour and husband, Bill and Delores York; special niece, Stacy York Shiflet; many foster children; and many special friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
