Mrs. Orva Nell Barnes, 64, of Caruthersville, died October 27, 1989 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital. Born May 12, 1925 at Steele,she was the daughter of Albert and Jessie Lane Bizzell. She formerly worked at Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of Central Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son, Kevin Barnes of Wardell; Two daughter, Mrs. Kathy Mansfield of Fortland, Mo. and Mrs. Jan Jackson of Caruthersville; One brother, Harold Bizzell of Dallas; Two sisters, Mrs. Vivian Edwards of Caruthersville and Mrs. Joyce House of Caruthersville; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were October 30 at 3:30 p.m. at Central Church of Christ, Jimmy Colvert officiating, with burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Dean Funeral Home of Caruthersville in charge.
Pallbearers were Ray Thomasson, Frank Waggoner, Barry Loveless, Doug McDowell, Bob Christian, and Jimmy Colvett.
