Marvin G. Ferguson, 67, Neosho, died on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Houston, TX, following an illness since Feb. 2008. Marvin was born Nov. 28, 1940 in Sulphur Springs, AR, the son of Orville and Georgia (Wilson) Ferguson. He served in the U.S. Air Force and then served in the Army National Guard. He worked at La Z Boy for 35 years in the upholstery department, retiring on Nov. 27, 2005 and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 4142.
Marvin married Rose Ross on Oct. 12, 1990 at Miami, OK and she survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Paul Ferguson and wife, Katrina, Granby and T.J. Sorden of the home, a stepson, Jeremy Steinbach and wife, Jo, Wheaton, MO; two sisters, Lucille Miller and Nellie Ferguson, Granby and five grandsons. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Frank Lee Ferguson and a sister, Linda Ferguson.
Services will be Thursday July 3, 2008, 10:00 a.m. in the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho. Officiating the service will be Keith Brumfield, Minister
Burial will be in Ragan Cemetery, Neosho.
Arrangements under direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
