Graveside services for Thomas Orval Brotherton, 69, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Brotherton passed away at 2:41 a.m., Friday, April 14, 2017 at Brooke Haven Health Care.
He was born December 1, 1947, at West Plains, Missouri, to Orval Hezicar “Bunn” Brotherton and Mary Elizabeth Nichols Brotherton. Tom graduated from Willow Springs High School with the Class of 1965 and had worked at M.F.A. feed mill and as a custodian for West Plains R-7 Schools. He enjoyed auctions, flea markets, yard sales and served many years with the Pomona Fire Department and was currently serving on the Board. He was known as “Uncle Tom”.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Missy Bates and husband, Mike, Donnie Brotherton, Beth Mulholland, Tracy Dewees, Duane Brotherton and Rick Dewees; several great-nieces and great-nephews, including, Dawn Fox, Layne Bates and Marie Bone and husband, John; and one great-great-niece, Nicole Barnett.
His parents, one brother, Donald Brotherton, one sister, Sue Fox and one niece, Kelly Sue Campbell, precede him in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
