Funeral services Philip L. Martin, 65, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Martin passed away at 7:21 p.m., Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.
He was born December 9, 1951, at St. Louis, Missouri, to Luther J. Martin and Geneva M. Owens Martin. He was married December 4, 1971, at Gainesville, Missouri, to Deborah Dixon. Mr. Martin was a Territory Manager at Ozark Machinery Co. and was a member of the West Plains Lions Club and Howell County Rural Fire Department. He was a member of the Church of Christ and attended Curry Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Martin, of the family home; his daughter, Sabrina Collins and husband, Jeff, West Plains and their daughter, Lakin; his son, Chad Martin and wife, Elaina, West Plains and their children, Brendan, Bryce, Shyann, Shaylynn and two precious babies, Allie and Zoey; one sister, Janice Flaskamper and husband, Donald, St. Louis, Missouri.
His parents and one sister, Dolores, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
