Treva Nadine Presser, of Willow Springs, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs, Missouri. Born on August 21, 1933 in Oakside, Missouri to Roland and Katie (Lynch) Elam, she was 84 years old.
Nadine married Clarence “Junior” Presser on January 16, 1959 in Willow Springs. She worked at Angelica, and spent many years caring for her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Presser was greatly loved by her family and was known for spoiling her grandchildren, playing cards with them, having them over for sleepovers, making the best cinnamon toast, and being very candid. She loved to fish with her husband Junior and spent many days on the lake catching her limit. Nadine had a soft spot for her grandkids and was very proud of each of their accomplishments. Nadine was a member of Calvary General Baptist Church in West Plains.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Dale Elam, Wilbur Elam, Raymond Elam, Clyde Elam, Bob Elam, and Theta Elam Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Junior, of 58 years; her children, Ricky Presser and wife, Sharon, of Willow Springs and Brenda Freeman and husband, Lee, of West Plains; her grandchildren, Eric Presser and wife, Katie, Missy Leighty and husband, Ethan, Matt Presser and wife, Sarah, all of Willow Springs, Ashley Freeman, and Greg Freeman of West Plains; and great grandchildren, Logan and Lily Presser of Willow Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2017 in Yarber Mortuary chapel, Willow Springs, Missouri with Pastor Bill Bales officiating.
Interment will be in Willow Springs City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army.
