Friday, May 2, 1952:
Funeral services were held Monday, April 28, 1951 for James Monroe Inmon, an elderly farmer, who was well known and well loved by the entire community, having lived here for the past 11 years. Services were conducted at the Baptist Church in Micola, with Rev. Alonzo Barrow officiating and Rev. A.C. Gardner as assistant.
He was born in Waverly, Tennessee, on May 8, 1885 and lived in Arkansas prior to moving to Missouri. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery and German Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Dee Nichols, Fred Franklin, Jimmie Sloan, Joe B. Michie, Harry Nail, Marvin Jennings and Hugh Clark.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Susie Inman of Micola, four sons, Ed of Huffman, Ark., Fred and Buford of Micola and Arlie of Braggadocio; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Robinson of Micola and Mrs. Margaret Bolin of Huffman; nine grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Scott of Dyersburg, Tenn and Mrs. Lula Bell of Waverly, Tenn.

Thursday, November 3, 1977:
Susan Choate Inmon, a resident of the Micola community, died October 28, 1977, at the Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti. She was 88.
Rev. A.C. Gardner conducted funeral services Sunday, October 30, at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Inmon was born June 15, 1889, in Waverly, TN, and was the daughter of Jim and Martha Sparks Inmon.
She leaves two sons, Fred Inmon, of Steele, and Ed Inmon, of Blytheville; one daughter, Margaret Bowling, of Caruthersville; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pall bearers were Fred Franklin, Bowen Travis, Lawrence Barnes, Bud Alford, Lee Pfeffer, and Ed Bradford. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
