Friday, October 20, 1950:
Services were held Monday, October 16, 1950 at the Rives Baptist Church for T.L. Brasher, a farmer of Rives, Missouri, with Rev. Deward Faughtner officiating. Interment was at Mount Zion Cemetery with the German Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Brasher was born October 31, 1915 near Rives, he died October 15, 1950. He lived in the Rives Community all of his life. He died at the age of 34 years.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Alverta Brasher, two sons: Kenneth and Ishmeal Ray (Buddy)one daughter, Ila Faye, his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Brasher, of Portageville, Missouri; one brother, Charlie, of Gobler, and two sisters, both of Portageville.
