Sharon Sue Stuart, daughter of George Marion and Margaret Faye Dublin King was born June 15, 1957 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on January 9, 2017 in Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri at the age of fifty-nine years, six months and twenty-four days.
In 1976 she was united in marriage to Mike Stuart and to this union three sons, Curtis, Timothy and Jesse, were born. Several years later, Sharon and Frankie D. Cox had a daughter, MaKayla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents who raised her, Duke and Margaret Dykes, and a half-sister, Elizabeth Norris.
Sharon is survived by three sons and their wives, Curtis and Katie Stuart of Lebanon, Missouri, Timothy and Hannah Stuart of Ava, Missouri, Jesse and JJ Stuart of Marshfield, Missouri; daughter, MaKayla Cox of Marshfield, Missouri two grandsons, Brayden Stuart and Brent Stuart; her twin sister, Karen Dugger of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; brother, Steven King of Boise, Idaho; half-sister, Tish LaBrattone of Richland, Washington; several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
She was born in Dexter and raised in Willow Springs. She was a graduate of Willow Springs High School in the Class of 1975. She earned her associates degree at Penn Valley Community College in Kansas City, Missouri. She was an EMT and Physical Therapist Assistant, working in Excelsior Springs, Texas County and for Mercy Hospital.
Sharon had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mansfield Christian Church.
In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, baking, board games and jigsaw puzzles.
Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will always cherish the wonderful memories of our times together.
