Gloria Faye Hodge, the daughter of the late Joseph Charles Hodge and June Lorene Lawrence Hodge, was born May 6, 1959 in West Plains, Missouri. Gloria entered into eternal rest March 15, 2018 at the age of 58.
Gloria’s hobbies were quilting, being with her family, church gatherings, civil war reenactments, and her job at Turning Leaf. Gloria loved to help people and listen to church sermons on her phone and computer.
She was survived two sons, Justin Charles Wright and Elvin Ray Powell of the home; one brother, Marvin Hodge; five sisters, Barb, Sylvia, Amanda, Judy, Charlotte; and step-sister, Jody; three grandkids, Malia, TJ, and Aron; and former husbands, Thomas Edward Wright Sr., and Elvin Jay Powell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Thomas Edward Wright, Jr.; and one aunt, Katheryn Moody.
Funeral services will be held at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in West Plains on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
Visitation will start at 12 noon and go until time of service.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
