Mrs. Dorothy Louise Cope, 71, a long-time resident of Blytheville, Ark., died Friday, January 9, 1998 at Methodist Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark.
A member of the North Tenth Street Baptist Church in Blytheville, she was a cook for Alter Barge Line.
Her husband, Finis N. Cope, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Cope leaves two daughters: Barbara Henson of Blytheville and Phinena A. Doshier of Jonesboro, Ark.; four sisters: Odie Crim of Salem, Mo., Mary Sutton, of Kennett, Mo., and Phyllis Emery and Sharon Ralph, both of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, George Hicks of Holland, Missouri and Robert Hicks, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and two grandchildren: Richard Russell, Jr. and Tyler Doshier.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cope were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 1998 at North Tenth Baptist Church in Blytheville with burial at Number Eight Cemetery at Number Eight, Missouri. Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville was in charge of arrangements.
