Mrs. Levina Mark Hicks, age 25, wife of Anderson Hicks, died at her home near Holland, Friday, April 11, 1930 due to a complication of tuberculosis and other diseases but became worse when she was taken ill with pneumonia, which shortened her life to a great extent.
Mrs. Hicks had lived near Holland for several years and had made a number of friends who will regret to learn of her death. She had been a member of the church since childhood, and was in regular attendance until her death. Funeral services were held at the Number 8 cemetery by Rev. Williams, of Gosnell, Ark. and interment was made there with the German Undertaking Co. in charge.
Besides a number of friends and relatives she leaves her husband, two small children, her mother, three sisters and two brothers.
