Charles William "Bill" Branstetter, 61, of Wheaton, passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, near Joplin.

He was born March 25, 1954 in Aurora, the son of Bee and Fontella "Furl" (Seitz) Branstetter, who preceded him in death.

Survivors are: two sons, one of which is Mark Branstetter, of Anderson; one daughter; two brothers, Richard Branstetter and his wife, Beverly, of Purdy, and Robert Branstetter and his wife, Joyce, of Kimberling City; three grandchildren; and his companion, Nina Lee Guthrie.

He grew up and received his education at Wheaton, where he graduated from high school. He was a lifelong resident of southwest Missouri. He was a very talented musician.

Graveside services were held Friday in Overton Cemetery, Wheaton, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
