His death certificate reads that his father was Godfrey Eiklor and his mother’s name was unknown to the informant (Mother was Permillia “Millie” Strope). He was 83 years, 5 months and 7 days old when he died. The cause of death was valvular heart disease. Mrs. John Eiklor, Newtonia, MO, was the informant. Burial was in Jolly Cemetery, January 6, 1921. J. B. Hancock, Newtonia, MO, was the doctor - Civil War Veteran, served in the 16th IN Infantry from August 9, 1862 to June 30, 1865.
