Ira L. Tilford, 71 yd is old, Washburn route 1, died at 6:45 o'clock Monday morning at Cardwell Memorial hospital in Stella, where he had been a patient since September 18.
Born June 9, 1897, near Gateway, Ark., Mr. Tilford had lived in Washburn 20 years, and was a retired farmer.
Surviving are a brother, Larry Tilford, Washburn, and two sisters, Mrs. Laura Hall and Mrs. Lurena Pace, both of Picher, Okla.
Services will be at 10:30 o'clock Thursday morning at the Culver chapel in Cassville. The Rev. Gerald Winters will officiate. Burial will be in Lone Walnut cemetery near Seligman.
