Self-written obituary:
The trail was long and it came to an end on March 3, 2011, at 12:15 am. There was “My Bob” standing there with the Lord to meet me. My journey began on December 13, 1928, as the first-born to Lillian and Dennis Hilderbrand in the first hospital built in Fort Defiance, Arizona on the Navaho Indian Reservation . My wandering had me living in Arizona, Idaho, Texas and then in Oregon, where Bob and I met and wed. We lived, worked and retired in Long Beach, California and then moved to Cassville in 1983. My working years started in the late 1950’s as a medical receptionist for a private practice in Long Beach, California and ended with H and R Block in Cassville in the spring of 2003.
Special thanks for the care received at the Waterford on the South Hill, Sacred Heart Medical Center, {and} to all the wonderful doctors and their personnel who attended to her these past seven years A “Celebration of Life “ will be held March 10 at noon at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N. Division, Spokane, Wash., followed by interment at Spokane Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Spokane/Cheney Rd.
