Passed away at the home of his son in Exeter. He was the son of Eldon and Eva (Prier) Ball. On June 12, 1944, in Berryville, AR., he was united in marriage to Mazelle Jackson, who preceded him in death on May 15, 2000. Also preceding him in death were his parents and two sisters, Novetta and Ruby. Buford was a life-long resident of Eagle Rock. He attended school at Munsey and graduated from Cassville High School. During World War II Buford joined the United States Navy, serving from September 4, 1944, until April 2, 1946. He was a farmer his entire life and was a self employed carpenter. He was a member of Roaring River Baptist Church and was saved at Mano.
