March 2, 1934 Eagle Rock, Barry Co., MO
Husband of Emily Francis Cornell
Cassville Democrat March 8, 1934
Wm. A. Cornell, who died at his home near Eagle Rock, Friday night, was 81 years old was also one of the county’s old time and honorable citizens. He had suffered from heart trouble several months and was a patient sufferer. He leaves four children to mourn his passing, who are: Clark of Eagle Rock, Troy and Roy of Seligman, and a daughter, Flossie, who lives in Oklahoma. All of the children attended him during his closing days. His excellent wife preceded him in death 28 years ago. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. George Haddock at the Munsey Church, Sunday afternoon, after which interment was made in the cemetery there under direction of the Koon Funeral Service. The Hopkins family furnished music at the services. This splendid character had lived in that section many years and had many friends. A large number attended the services. His father was Charles Clark Cornell.
