Robert (Bob) Angelo Tripi passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on March 23, 2019. He was born March 2, 1945 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Angelo Tripi and Christine (Anglin) Tripi. He graduated from Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi, Texas and then attended college until he joined the Air Force and went to Vietnam and then was honorably discharged.
After returning from Vietnam, he stayed in California, married Mary Kathrin (Casey) Cammarano on May 3, 1969, and worked most of his life for Rite-Aid Drug Store in different managerial positions. In 2010 he retired to the family home in Willow Springs, Missouri.
Bob and his wife loved riding their Harleys, taking many long trips. He loved keeping busy working on projects, building things, and traveling.
Bob was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his fathers, Angelo Tripi and Laurin (Whitey) Wiersema, his mother, Christine Wiersema, and a sister, Sherry Elaine Wiersema. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Casey, of the home, 2 daughters, Kimberly Watry and Julie Watry, 2 brothers, Chuck (and Patty) Wiersema, Curt (and Faye) Wiersema, 3 nieces, 2 nephews, and 18 great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Funeral services for Mr. Tripi will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Trinity Baptist Church in Willow Springs with Pastor David Cox officiating. A visitation will immediately precede the service from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Interment will be at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.
