He was a lifelong area resident, a farmer, a sawmill worker, and a custom baler. He was a Baptist. He married Bernice Dovie Hilburn on June 16, 1934, in Cassville, and she preceded him in death October 28, 1995. He was preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters, and a great grandchild. - Stone has born July 17, 1907. Dec. 27, 1999 Monett Times Obit listed his birth as July 7, 1907, in Thomasville.
