Charles William Hilburn, 68, of Seligman, died November 8th, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, AR.
Mr. Hilburn was born December 12, 1937, in Butterfield, the son of William Harvey and Lona {Richardson} Hilburn. He worked several years in Oregon as a flagman for a road district. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Cassville and the National Rifle Association.
He married Betty Hutchinson on October 16, 1984, and she survives.
Additional survivors include five sons, Tony Hilburn, Donnie Hilburn, and Tim Hilburn, all of Salem, OR, Steve Hunter of Cassville, and Andy Hunter of Seligman; four daughters, Terry Coolidge of Shell Knob, Sandra McKowen of Muskogee, OK, Linda Ashley of Salem, OR, and Deanna Tilford of Seligman; seven brothers, James, Clyde, Ralph, Wayne, John, Harvey, and Jerry Hilburn; four sisters, Helen Staponski, Ruth Lakey, Rhoda Balch, and Linda Coones; 18 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Rick Hilburn; and two great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, November 11, at Russell Cemetery in Butterfield.
