Son of Jacob R Lankard 1849–1878 and Mary E. Harbolt 1857–1891
A sad accident occurred at Ringo’s Point last Friday. Arthur Lankard, a ten-year-old lad was out shooting. His gun exploded and the breech pin was driven into his forehead. The boy is a grandson of T. M. Thorson, of this city, who furnished us the above information. The child was still alive Tuesday, but there is little hope of his recovery.
