John Ransom Phariss died at his home north of Verona at 8:30 o'clock Monday, December 30, of tuberculosis, after a prolonged illness, such is common to that dread disease. Mr. Phariss spent several years in New Mexico in search of health, returning to Missouri about a year ago. Deceased was born September 9, 1881 and was married August 26, 1903 to Miss Eula E. Strawn, who with three children survive
