DIXON—At his residence, in Pure Air, Adair county, Mo., on January 20, after a long and painful illness, Mr. T.W. Dixon, aged 31 years, 8 months and 5 days.

Mr. Dixon was highly respected by all who knew him, for his kindness and honesty in his dealings. He was engaged in mercantile pursuits at Pure Air and had good success. He had been a constant sufferer since last June; but bore his suffering with great patience.

Mr. Dixon was a friend to Bible teaching, and gave very liberally to build a church at Pure Air, and was a willing supporter of the gospel of Christ. He leaves a good wife and two dear little boys to mourn the loss of a kind husband and father. The funeral services were held in the church at Pure Air, and the remains were then taken to the cemetery at Ringo's Point and laid to rest.
