Troy Dale Lawrence, 37, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away following an automobile accident Tuesday evening (January 17, 2012).

The son of Lyle and Carolyn Deniece (Shaver) Talbert and Greg Lawrence, he was born September 22, 1974 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Troy is survived by his parents; one son, Dalton Deon Lawrence of Kirksville, MO; one daughter, Skyler Kenzie Lawrence of Kirksville, MO; his grandfather, William Eugene Shaver of Kirksville, MO; two brothers, Michael Allen Lawrence of Columbia, MO and Justin Dean Talbert of Novinger, MO, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doris Jean (Bunch) Shaver, Rex Talbert, Nellie Talbert and his cousin, Cory Shaver.

Troy was a graduate from Novinger High School with the Class of 1992. He was employed for Adam-Davis Construction Company at the time of his death.

Troy enjoyed hunting, sports, music, driving the back roads and hunting for arrow heads. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and his greatest pride and joy in life were his children.

He was a member of the North American Federal Hunting Club.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday (January 20, 2012) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor John Davison officiating. Interment will follow the service at Ringo Point Cemetery, southwest of Novinger, MO.

Family will receive friends Friday (January 20, 2012) from noon until service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Kail Shumaker, Aaron Lawrence, Billy McVay, Timmy Parrish, David Giovannini and Tracy Novinger. Honorary bearers will be Kale Calhoun, Dale Johnson, Brent Robison and Neil Pickett.
