Burial Rites for
Dr. Sallie Conner
Interment of the cremated remains of Dr. Sallie M. Conner will be made Friday afternoon at four o’clock in the Bear Creek Cemetery where a gravesite service will be conducted by Rev. R. E. Otto.
Dr. Conner was born June 4, 1871 in Adair County, Mo., a daughter of Mr. and John David L. Conner, a pioneer family of this County.
She was educated in Kirksville schools and after graduating from the A. S. O. she practiced Osteopathey in Ohio for a number of years before going to Pasadena, Calif., where she continued to practice until the time of her death, February 9, 1948.
Surviving relatives are two sisters, Mrs. C. E. Lamb and Mrs. Laura Draper of Pasadena, Calif., two brothers, Dr. W. J. Conner of Pasadena and David L. Conner of Phoenix, Ariz. Mrs. C. F. Lamb is in Kirksville for the Interment.
Relatives and friends attending the graveside service will leave from the Davis Funeral Home, Washington and Marion, at 3:30 p.m.Friday.
