DAVID WALTON MOZINGO
---David Walton Mozingo, age 59, of Hurdland, Missouri, passed away Saturday morning (February 5, 1994) in the Knox County Nursing Home, at Edina, Missouri, where he had been a patient for three days.
---Born November 7, 1934, in La Plata, Missouri, he was the son of Charlie Albert and Mintie Marie (Cummins) Mozingo.
---He is survived by two sons, David Charles, of Pekin, Illinois and Samuel Phillip, of Fulton, Missouri; four grandchildren, two sisters Ruth Grigsby and Dorothy Grigsby both of Elmer, Missouri; two brothers, Ralph Mozingo of East Peoria, Illinois and Don Mozingo; two aunts, Eula Anderson of La Plata, Missouri, and Lucille Phelan, of Popular Bluff, Missouri, a cousin Janet Johnson, and her son, Robert Johnson, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, nieces, nephews and cousins.
---He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Helen Allen and Nancy Mozingo.
---Mr. Mozingo attended school in La Plata and Brashear. He lived most of his adult life in Knox County, Missouri, where he worked as an auto mechanic, after serving in the military in Germany for two years in the 1950's.
---Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday (February 8, 1994) in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel, at Edina, Missouri, with the Reverand David Howald officiating. Musical selections and be "Beyound the Sunset". "The Old Rugged Cross", and "One Day At A Time."
---Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, northwest of Gibbs, Missouri. Casket bearers will be members of the family.
