Theodore R. "Ted" O'Kane, 72, of Cooter, died May 23, 1988 at his home. Born April 14, 1916 in Steele, he was the son of Claude and Clara Fuller O'Kane. He formerly lived in Florida and was a retired citrus worker.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Regina Buckmaster of Norfolk, Neb.; Three brothers, Lowell O'Kane of Blytheville, Eric O'Kane of Sterling Heights, Mich., and Larry O'Kane of Haines City, Fla.; Five sisters, Mrs. Belle Norrid of Blytheville, Mrs. Mary Caldwell and Charlotte and Glenda O'Kane, all of Cooter, and Mrs. Melba Copley of Winder, Ga.; Four grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Services are May 26 at 2 p.m. at German-Aumon Funeral Home chapel in Steele, the Rev. Tim Aberanathy and the Rev. David Powell officiating, with burial at Number Eight Cemetery at Cooter.
Pallbearers were Kenny Copley, Ricky Norrid and Frankie, James, Keith and Michael Razer.
